I'm happy to finally be able to share the first maintenance release of TSW WebCoder 2013 with you. It fixes a few bugs, but it also introduces a bunch of small, but very useful additions and improvements. Here's a list of what you can expect, if you install this new version:

Changes

• Block Selection/Column editing (really cool feature - check the Help for more information)
• Search in selection (back by popular demand)
• Bookmarks (back by popular demand)
• Indentation guides (back by popular demand - can be toggled on/off in the Advanced editor settings)
• Breakpoints and Bookmarks will be saved and restored automatically between sessions
• WebCoder will now try to center a search result, instead of showing it in the top or bottom of the window
• WebCoder can now automatically tidy your CSS selectors when you paste new properties into it (can be toggled on/off from the Settings dialog)
• Various minor bugs have been fixed

Installation

If you haven't installed WebCoder 2013 by now, getting this update is as simple as downloading the WebCoder application from the main website - all the above mentioned changes will be in it!

If you already have WebCoder installed, please download WebCoder from the main website and install it on top of your existing installation - it should be able to run just fine with the existing data files. This is, of course, a free update, so it should work just fine with your existing serial key, and if not, you can request a new one, using the order details from your initial WebCoder 2013 order.

I would like to use this opportunity to wish you and your families a very merry Christmas and a happy New Year! In 2013, WebCoder was released after more than 18 months of hard work. Hopefully you are all using it to produce loads of wonderful code. I have spent some time away from WebCoder development to gather new inspiration, so I'm planning for an updated version to see the light of day during the first months of 2014. Special note to people with a beta version installed: Unless you allow WebCoder to overwrite your previous settings upon installing the final version, you may be missing out on certain fixes, since the final release usually comes with slightly modified data files, to fix issues from beta versions where these files are involved.

A new maintenance release of TSW SiteSync has just been released. The main reason for this update is compatibility with the very-soon-to-be-released final version of TSW WebCoder 2013, but I decided to make some minor improvements as well, while I was at it. So, besides being better at communicating with the latest version of WebCoder, this release brings almost ten minor improvements and additions to SiteSync.

Since this is just a maintenance release, your license of course covers this upgrade if you have already purchased SiteSync. Just download the latest version at the SiteSync website and install it on top of the old one, and you should be good to go.

Final beta 11 is here, to fix a few bugs and to extend the beta expiration date with a couple of weeks, to ensure that I have enough time to prepare the launch properly. This should hopefully be the last beta version and thereby extremely close to the final version. Please let me know if you find any problems that should be fixed before the final version is released. Final beta 7 introduced the new Metro Dark theme already loved by many users, and final beta 8 fixes a few problems found with this theme, along with some other minor problems. Let me know what you think of it!

The 7th final beta is here, bringing quite a few changes. I would not normally make this many changes so late in the process, but I got the possibility to support a new, dark visual theme, which I was pretty sure that a lot of users would appreciate. Unfortunately it required a lot of tweaking in many places to fully work, so besides some bug fixes, this release also has many visual tweaks and changes. I hope that you will give the new Metro Dark theme a try and see if it looks alright.

I also introduced a new "Welcome" dialog that you will see the first time you start WebCoder. I'm hoping that it will provide an easy overview of some of the settings that might influence how you perceive WebCoder when trying it for the first time. I know that most of the beta testers have seen WebCoder more times than they can count, so this dialog isn't really for you, but I would still like to hear what you think of it :)

I'm aware that we've gone through quite a few beta versions so far, but I'm very committed to bringing a near-perfect final version, so I'm going to keep WebCoder in beta for a little while longer. I hope you'll stick with it and keep reporting the problems you find :)

We're definitely getting very close to the final release of TSW WebCoder 2013, but I want to make sure that we get rid of those last bugs, so here's yet another new beta version. It mostly fixes some minor bugs, but please do upgrade anyway to make sure that we're all using the latest WebCoder 2013 build.
