TSW WebCoder 2013 released!

June 5, 2013

I'm both pleased and proud to announce the release of the final version of TSW WebCoder 2013. With 18 months of development and an added 6 months of beta testing, which is the cause of many user inspired improvements, I feel confident in saying that this is the absolute best version of WebCoder released so far!

So, whether you're a beta tester, an existing WebCoder user or just someone looking for a great PHP IDE and Web editor, I urge you to click the big button below and try out WebCoder 2013 for free - hopefully you'll love it as much as I do :)

WebCoder 2013

In case you haven't followed the long development process or taken part in the beta test, I urge you to go and immediately download the free trial version. If you need convincing, I have posted a lot about the news and improvements of this version right here on the blog. There are too many posts for me to list them all, but here are a couple of my own, personal favorites:

Buy WebCoder 2013 with a discount

If you have previously purchased a license to WebCoder 2010, WebCoder 2009, phpCoder 2008 or WebPad.NET, I would like to offer you a 25% upgrade discount on WebCoder 2013. Simply visit the Buy now page, click the upgrade link in the top and use your previous order ID to get the discount.

New website

I have given the design of a bit of a makeover, to better match this new and modern looking version of WebCoder. I hope you like the new website, and please do let me know if you find any problems in using it.

A special thanks to the beta testers

As of writing, more than 300 forum threads, with a total of 1.329 posts, has been created on the beta forum during the beta phase. You guys have done a GREAT job and I really appreciate all your feedback. As always, I want to give thanks with more than words, so as promised, here are the five persons who I would like to reward with a free TSW WebCoder 2013 Professional license for their hard work (listed by their forum names):

  • paulhuckstepp
  • TEL0000
  • papaulsh
  • casperskou
  • benbaroh

Guys, send me an e-mail through the contact form of this site, and I will make sure that you get your free license. Once again, a big thanks goes out to you and all the other beta testers!

Sharing is caring

Do you know anyone who could need a new web editor? The more people using WebCoder, the better we can make it, so help us spreading the word about WebCoder, either by using the share buttons in the bottom of this post, sending the website link to your friends, by adding a WebCoder link on your website or in pretty much any other way you can imagine.

Your help is highly appreciated, so if you do something particular cool and useful, don't be shy to send us an e-mail about it so we can discuss a reward in form of a nice discount!

Final words

That's all I have for now. I hope you'll like WebCoder 2013. If you have any comments, questions or concerns, then please don't hesitate to contact us. Enjoy! :)

Special note to people with a beta version installed: Unless you allow WebCoder to overwrite your previous settings upon installing the final version, you may be missing out on certain fixes, since the final release usually comes with slightly modified data files, to fix issues from beta versions where these files are involved.

TSW SiteSync 2.04 released

June 4, 2013

A new maintenance release of TSW SiteSync has just been released. The main reason for this update is compatibility with the very-soon-to-be-released final version of TSW WebCoder 2013, but I decided to make some minor improvements as well, while I was at it. So, besides being better at communicating with the latest version of WebCoder, this release brings almost ten minor improvements and additions to SiteSync.

Since this is just a maintenance release, your license of course covers this upgrade if you have already purchased SiteSync. Just download the latest version at the SiteSync website and install it on top of the old one, and you should be good to go.
